August was all about building a Staff Strong Start—and now it's time to turn our attention to the families and supporters who make our PTA communities strong!
🎯 SEPTEMBER’S CHALLENGE:
Complete ONE of the following by September 30th:
👨👩👧👦 Recruit & submit dues for your first 10 non-staff members
OR
📈 Increase your total membership by 10% compared to your previous September membership total.
Your non-staff members can include parents, guardians, grandparents, community members, alumni, or other supporters. Every person who joins helps strengthen your PTA’s voice and ability to support your school!
💡 NEED SOME IDEAS?
🍎 Set up a PTA Membership Table during Open House or a back-to-school event.
🏫 Hold a fun classroom or grade-level membership challenge.
💬 Share “Why I Joined PTA” testimonials from parents and staff.
📱 Promote membership on your social media throughout the month.
📲 Display PTA membership QR codes around your school to make joining quick and easy.

📣 Statewide WV PTA Social Media Recognition
📜 Entry for (1) night stay at WV PTA State Convention

⏰ DON’T FORGET!
Membership dues must be submitted through Givebacks by September 30th to qualify for the September challenge.
🏆 Qualifying units and recognition will be announced by October 5th!
